The American P.R.I.D.E. Movement

This is American P.R.I.D.E.

American People Recognizing Ignorance and Determined to Elevate. Red represents the centuries of physical and mental persecution of...Black people (black stripes) in order to establish and maintain the economy of the thirteen colonies (13 stripes) which, in turn, served as the foundation for the... fifty states (50 red stars) that still benefit both directly and indirectly from that persecution... Blue is for the justice (moral, economic, educational, and political reconciliation) due the American citizens of African descent. This symbol flies for the collective healing of the American people from the effects of the Trans-Atlantic slavetrade and its aftermath... racism.

This MOVEMENT does NOT advocate generalizing hatred and bias toward any one race of people
Our common enemy is the SYSTEM that endorses the ideals of Racial Discrimination and Prejudice.

The American P.R.I.D.E. Movement is NOT exclusive to Americans of African descent, it is open to All People who are prepared to acknowledge and properly address the injustice toward Citizens of African descent present throughout American History. It is a Movement for Citizens committed to moving toward a change for the better in our great nation.
